Roasted spaghetti squash
Roasted spaghetti squash

Ingredients

1 spaghetti squash
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup of water
Salt to taste

Directions

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Cut off the end of spaghetti squash and slice vertically. Scoop out the seeds, as you would with a pumpkin. Then place with the rind up in a 9-by-12 baking pan. Fill pan with water to about ¼ of an inch (roughly 1 cup). Place squash in pre-heated oven and bake 40 minutes. Check periodically to see if you need to add water so as not to burn squash. Remove squash and with a fork scrape out the middle, which is the edible part. In a bowl, mix the butter, honey and salt to taste. Then it is ready to be served.
