Broccoli coleslaw with a fruity boost

This family favorite is easy to adapt to your own family's tastes. For example, we sometimes add a small can of mandarin oranges (chilled and drained) in place of the apple.

    Ingredients

1 (12-oz.) bag broccoli coleslaw or chopped cabbage
1/4 to 1/2 cup diced apple
1/4 to 1/2 cup dried cherries or cranberries
Marie’s Poppy Seed Dressing, to taste
Chopped pecans, chopped walnuts or slivered almonds, if you wish

    Directions

Combine and serve! Tip: Don't make too far in advance, as it can get a little watery.
