Roasted asparagus with Serrano ham and toasted Asiago cheese crisps

Ingredients

20 spears medium asparagus
12 slices Serrano ham, shaved thin
3 oz. spring greens
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
2 oz. shaved Asaigo cheese
2 tablespoons olive oile

Directions

Trim off stem ends of asparagus and coat with olive oil, salt and pepper and chopped garlic. Roast on a baking sheet at 350 degrees till crisp but tender, approximately 5 minutes; remove and chill

To prepare crisps, shaved Asiago can be put on a lightly greased baking sheet, placed in a 350-degree oven till cheese melts and is lightly browned; remove, let cool, save for garnish.

Place spring greens which have been tossed with your favorite vinaigrette in a bowl and lay the roasted asparagus across the top, garnish with the shaved Serrano ham and the Asiago cheese crisps.
