Frozen grape kabobs
A few minutes of prep turns an already delicious fruit into an irresistible snack for kids and adults alike. While the kabobs can satisfy a sweet tooth anytime, the skewers make this recipe festive party fare, too.
Frozen grape kabobs

Ingredients

Grapes (your favorite variety or combination of varieties)
Bamboo skewers (see tip)
Gallon zip-top freezer bags

Directions

Rinse grapes in a colander and remove from stems, transferring to a bed of paper towels to remove excess moisture. Fill each skewer with grapes, alternating colors, if using different varieties. Place skewers in gallon zip-top bags and store in the freezer until ready to eat. Do not thaw before serving, as the grapes can "oversoften."

The Nutrition Professor's Prep Smart Tip: Remove the sharp ends of the bamboo skewers if they won't fit in the freezer bag without poking through. You can also skip the skewer altogether and simply freeze the rinsed (and dry) grapes in a freezer bag.
