Garlic popcorn with turmeric

  • 1 cup olive oil
    4 cloves garlic, pressed
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 cup unpopped popcorn
    1/2 tbsp. turmeric
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper


Heat olive oil, garlic and cayenne in a small saucepan until all garlic is floating. Remove from heat. Meanwhile, use an air popper or stovetop popcorn popper to pop the kernels. Pour popped corn into a large paper grocery bag. Use a spoon to drizzle garlic olive oil over popcorn and lightly shake bag to coat kernels evenly. Once coated, sprinkle with turmeric, salt and black pepper.
